Cellist
Mizuki Ueda

Mizuki has graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest with highest honors in Cello Performance, and has completed her postgraduate studies in Chamber Music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. 

During her studies, she has attended numerous masterclasses as well as international competitions with positive results, including the Gold Medal at 10th Jubilee International Music Competition for Young Musicians in Budapest, and Second Prize at the 5th Svirel International Competition in Slovenia. Mizuki was a recipient of Stipendium Hungaricum as well as the scholarship "Verein der Freunde der Wiener Philharmoniker" upon participating IOIA masterclass.

She began her professional carrier as an orchestra musician at Webern Kammerphilharmonie in Vienna in 2015, soon to be followed by the prestigious Hungarian State Opera Orchestra. From 2018 to 2023, Mizuki was a member of the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra performing across Hungary and Austria. The ensemble also toured around Asia in 2019. Additionally, she has performed as a geust cellist among others at Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and at Duna Symphony Orchestra as a principal.Since July 2023, Mizuki resides in Cologne, Germany.

Since September 2020, Mizuki has been playing on an antique Viennese instrument from year 1778. This loan is made possible by the generosity of Mrs. Eckert as well as by the courtesy of her mentor, Mr. Tamás Varga.

Learning to play an instrument is a truly rewarding experience - the joy of producing a beautiful sound, being able to play your favourite piece, and last but not the least, constantly facing new challenges. Cello Lessons in Dresden Altstadt

A bright lesson room equipped with a pianino  is conveniently located in the heart of Dresden. Students of all ages and levels are welcome!

Online Lessons

For anyone with a prior learning experience, I offer online cello lessons via Skype or FaceTime. It is a great opportunity for those who live remotely or are simply too busy to commute regularly.   
A Blue Yeti X USB microphone and Sennheiser headphones are used in all lessons in order to optimize the sound quality.  

Similarly to in-person lessons, you will be receiving an overall support throughout your learning.

Risk-free Trial Lesson
A trial lesson is available at €20,- (30-45 mins). There is no need to trasnfer the fee until after the lesson has taken place.
