Cello lessons

Learning to play an instrument is a truly rewarding experience, not only because of the beauty it entails but also because it requires patience, time, and a consistent effort. Whether in-person or via webcam, I am committed to delivering a fun and supportive environment along your journey.

Currently, students from nine year old to adults in their 50s are in my class, and few spots are available. Musical and technical development are built upon correct form and solid basics. My guidance seeks to holistically work on those elements, as they are inseparable from one another.

Please read the details below and get in touch!

Voices of the Students

in-person student

Mizuki is a very caring and detail-oriented teacher, aside from being very professional and knowledgeable. Her lessons are especially well-tailored to my development as she is attentive to what needs improvement, giving me very clear notes and also acknowledgement. I've been taking classes for a year and there's always good and useful technique tips to take away from each lesson. She is also a very kind, flexible and fun person to be around!

online student

I’ve been studying with Mizuki for about a year. I am very happy with my online lessons. They are a good mix of technique and repertoire. Mizuki is very detailed when explaing technical issues as well as paying attention to musical phrasing in repertoire. I feel like I have made good progress with her and feel more confident about my playing. I highly recommend her for any level.
