Cellist
Mizuki Ueda

An award winning cellist, Mizuki Ueda regularly performs across Hungary and Austria with the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, where she is a member since 2018. In 2019, the orchestra toured across East Asia. At the same time, Mizuki is a regular contributor of the Webern Kammerphilharmonie, a Vienna based ensemble, with whom she has performed in most of the prominent concert halls in Vienna as well as at Varna Music Festival (Bulgaria) and at Wien Modern music festival. In 2016/17, Mizuki played as an intern at the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra.

In September 2020, Mizuki was loaned a cello by luthier Sebastian Aichinger, made in Vienna, Austria in 1778. This loan is made possible by the generosity of Mrs. Eckert as well as by the recommendation of Mr. Tamás Varga.

Mizuki is a graduate of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, and has completed her postgraduate studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

Cello lessons

Are you in Budapest looking for a cello teacher or in other areas for online lessons?

Aside from performing at orchestras and in chamber music groups, I am committed to delivering a fun and caring environment for learning. Currently, students from early teens to adults in their 40s are in my class. My guidance seeks to holistically work on musical understandings as well as technique, as they are inseparable from one another.

Students of all ages and levels are welcome (including absolute beginners), please do not hesitate to contact me!
